About Us

Each year The Lost Dogs' Home provides compassionate care to over 18,700 lost, stray and unwanted pets - that’s 51 animals every day. This care is provided through a holistic model of shelter, veterinary, behaviour, adoption, foster and reunification services.

Since 1910, The Lost Dogs' Home has been dedicated to helping lost, abandoned and vulnerable animals. For more than 110 years, we've reunited pets with their families, found loving homes for those in need, and championed animal welfare across Victoria. Every purchase from our shop helps support this lifesaving work.

Our Purpose

We care for lost dogs and cats, connect pets with people who love them, and build a community where dogs and cats thrive.

Our Vision

Every dog and cat has the best chance of a safe, happy and healthy life.
